At the last, 7th, Zagreb Snowflakes Trophy, held March 14 and 15, 2008, we had for the first time a team from Australia compete; the biggest applause went to the Zagreb Snowflakes whose hard work enabled them to have 4 great performances by teams of all ages…

The competition was opened by the youngest team of Snowflakes coached by Vanja Maoduš in front of two and a half thousand of very delighted fans of synchronized skating including the Mayor of the City of Zagreb Milan Bandić and the president of the Zagreb Sport Association Tomislav Šepec. The Croatian national anthem was sung beautifly by our head coach Danka Đurašević.

Novices, after a silver medal from Miškolc, unfortunatelly had no competition but, judging by their performance, even if they had they would still be on the podium.

The junior team lost out closely on the medals from an older and more experienced Australian team .
